Destinations
The Republic of Seychelles is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The cosmopolitan Seychellois is a colourful blend of peoples of different races, cultures and religions. Rich in its history, descendants of African, European and Asian origin have come to Seychelles, bringing with them their distinct traditions and customs and therefore contributing to the way of life and the modern  Seychellois culture. Works of local art, cuisine, music, dance and architecture, show the different influences.

The architectural design of the grand old houses, which are common with their steep roofs are reflective of the  style adapted for comfortable living in the tropics that displays influences from Seychelles’ French and British colonial heritage. Modern architecture attempts to fuse traditional styles with practical features designed to capture the island breezes.

Home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the legendary Vallée de Mai on Praslin where the gigantic shaped Coco-de-mer nut grows high on ancient palms and the fabled Aldabra, the world’s largest raised coral atoll, first seen by early Arab seafarers of the 9th century A.D. Seychelles, one of the world’s very last frontiers, promises adventure and natural beauty in pristine surrounds still untouched by man. Seychelles holds the record for the highest percentage of land under natural conservation—nearly 50% of the total land area. Ecotourism has become there are marine parks and natural reserves filled with endemic species that are easy to approach. Diverse Activities such as walks in the jungle and on the coast, boat excursions, and diving and snorkelling.

White sandy beaches lapped by clear waters and with backgrounds of  lush hills and big boulders. With such a dreamlike setting, the Seychelles is unsurprisingly a choice place for newlyweds.
