LEOPARD CREEK: Golfing in the bush

Welcome to Leopard Creek Country Club!

Leopard Creek has grown out of the vision of a banker and skills and expertise of one of the world’s great golfers.
It is founded on the values of friendship, a common love of the game of golf and a shared reverence for nature. Drawing from the intricate wealth of nature, Leopard Creek is an unobtrusive part of that environment – blending, complementing and enhancing.
A Gift to Nature.

Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies.
Golfing hazards take on a new dimension at Leopard Creek, for much of the water is home to the magnificent creatures for which the river is named, crocodiles. Extensive use has been made of water features and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course.
The 505 meter par-five 13th is one of Leopard Creek’s most memorable holes. Here the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile river but 32 meters above the level of the water, offering magnificent views up the river and into the Kruger Park.

Gary Player is especially proud of the par-five 18th with its island green and the par-four 9th with its peninsula green jutting out of the same body of water.

ERNVALE CAPE TOWN Golf Club played host to the World Cup of Golf held in 1996 (only a year after it’s official opening) as well as the
SAA Open in both 2003 and 2004 and most recently hosted the South African Disabled Open.
The golfing experience at Erinvale Golf Course is divided into two distinctly different nines. The first nine takes you  through the flatter, residential part of the estate, while the back nine makes its way upwards on the slope  of the Helderberg Mountains, allowing the golfer to enjoy beautiful sea and mountain views.
If the challenge of a Gary Player designed golf course, coupled with breath-taking winelands, sea and mountains views is what you are looking for, then Erinvale Golf Course is the place to visit.

DE ZALZE CAPE TOWN Golf Course situated within the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate was designed by Peter Matkovich (course architect for Leopard Rock, Arabella & Pinnacle Point amongst others) who made the most of the stunning setting and created a course that places a premium on accuracy.
The course has an excellent mix of parkland holes with its main challenges presented in the form of the water features on several holes, as well as the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen River which winds its way through the Golf Estate and comes into play at various intervals.

PEARL VALLEY CAPE TOWN: one of the most attractive aspects of Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate is its iconic golf course. This masterpiece was shaped by the vision of golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his unique touch is evident throughout the course. Officially opened in November 2003 by Nicklaus and South African great, Gary Player, Pearl Valley Golf Estates was named ‘best new golf course of the year’ by Golf Digest magazine in 2005, ranked as the best conditioned golf course in the Western Cape by Golf Digest for 2010/2011/2012/2013/2014 and awarded the Compleat Golfer’s Five Star Experience Award for six consecutive years.
